Additionally, please continue to inform your any family members, friends, neighbors, and co-workers about the CTA's plan to discontinue the Route 11 Lincoln Bus between Fullerton and Western, and encourage them to visit this site to learn more and take action.

The CTA's Plan

On August 22nd, the CTA announced a plan that proposes to discontinue service for the Route 11 Lincoln Bus between Western and Fullerton.

Why It Matters

The Route 11 Lincoln Bus is used by 5,800 people every weekday.  The Route 11 Lincoln Bus serves every member of our community, including but not limited to: senior citizens, low income and disabled individuals, families and DePaul students.  Our community uses Route 11  to get to work, school, medical centers, and local businesses.

Route 11  bolsters the continued growth of small businesses in our community, transforming a previously undeveloped stretch into a bustling commercial artery between Lincoln Park and Lincoln Square.  Businesses that are accessible by public transportation flourish and create jobs, those that are not, fail.

If the CTA's plan is approved, our community will be faced with fewer transportation options, and the threat of stunted economic growth.  Take action today and make sure the Route 11 Lincoln Bus keeps running, so our community can keep growing.

What You Can Do

You can make your voice heard in support of maintaining the Route 11 Lincoln Bus and making sure it continues to run in a number of ways.  Including downloading and sharing our flyer, signing the petition in support of the Route 11 Lincoln Bus, contacting the CTA and your Alderman, and attending the CTA's Public Hearing on discontinuing the Route 11 Lincoln Bus.

Additionally, please share this page with your friends and neighbors, so they can be fully informed about the CTA's plan to discontinue the Route 11 Lincoln Bus, and help save the Route 11 Lincoln Bus.
